Adab assuǧūn wa-tadāˁiyāt aṯ-ṯawra as-sūriyya: al-iltizām almutaǧaddid

Abstract

“La narrativa carcelaria y las repercusiones de la revolución siria: El compromiso renovado”. La llamada “narrativa carcelaria” ha tenido un gran peso específico en la literatura árabe moderna, en especial en países que han sufrido regímenes militares despóticos, como es el caso de Siria. El levantamiento popular de 2011 y el subsiguiente conflicto armado han reactivado la producción de este tipo de obras, dentro de un espectro asimismo renovado de la temática global del compromiso artístico. A través de la evocación en primera persona, y con técnicas estilísticas diversas, estas novelas-diario colocan la realidad en el eje de la creación escrita. Muy sugerente nos parece, en este contexto, la recuperación discursiva de la memoria del sufrimiento pasado para incrustarlo en el persistente padecimiento de hoy.

“Prison’s narrative and the implications of the Syrian revolution: The renewed commitment”. The so-called “Prison´s narrative” has had a strong presence in the bulk of Modern Arabic Literature, especially in those countries that had suffered the rule of despotic military regimes, as it is the case of Syria. The popular uprising of 2011 and the ongoing-armed conflict have reactivated the generation of this kind of Works, in the context of the global subject of compromise and commitment in Arts. Throughout the tools of self-evocation and devoted to a large number of expressive techniques, these novels-diaries place reality in the very axis of written invention. What seems to us really suggesting is the recovering of past suffering circumstances in order to insert them in the present state of continuous pain.
