Abstract

En este artículo se lleva a cabo una revisión reciente de la actividad de la obra cultural de las cajas de ahorro españolas (muchas de ellas, hoy fundaciones bancarias). Más allá de las cifras, el artículo ahonda en el valor de la obra cultural y patrimonial que han llevado y siguen llevando a cabo estas entidades en territorio español.

This article reviews the recent cultural activity of Spanish building societies (many of which are now banking foundations). Going beyond the figures, the article delves into the value of the cultural and heritage work that these institutions have done and continue to do in Spain.
