El periodo de adaptación en Educación Infantil a un familiar. Una investigación narrativa

Abstract

El periodo de adaptación para el alumnado de infantil es el tiempo que ellos necesitan para sentirse cómodo en su experiencia en el aula (educativa y lúdica). Pero el familiar, también, precisa de su tiempo y de gestos para admitir que su menor se queda, felizmente, en la escuela. Son varios los autores que suscriben la necesidad, tal vez por igual para ambas partes, de un periodo de adaptación para el menor y para su familiar. En este sentido, nos valemos de la metodología narrativa para compartir la voz con una madre preocupada e interesada en resolverlo de la mejor manera posible pensando en el bienestar de su hija y en el de ella misma. Una experiencia investigativa cualitativa con la intención de conocer para mejorar. En el apartado de los resultados nos valemos de núcleos de contenidos que estructuran, en ocho epígrafes, los puntos más destacados por esta madre que sostiene la necesidad del periodo de adaptación para evitar un posible sufrimiento de las partes involucradas en este proceso escolar. En definitiva, se suscribe una idónea comunicación entre el centro, el equipo docente y el familiar (donde se ha de incluir cualquier modelo de familia de la contemporaneidad), para llevar a cabo un periodo de adaptación escalonado y con éxito.

This article aims to be a contribution to the field of knowledge about adaptation a family member who has a child in the infant education classroom. Undoubtedly, this is an extremely significant moment for the relationship between family and school. Usually, the approach to this subject is carried out with the pupils as the active subject, but on this occasion it is approached from the point of view of a family member who is directly involved. In this sense, the family is an essential agent in this transition and, for this reason, the prominence it takes in this investigation. However, we are faced with a relevant opportunity to address this reality and, to this end, the approach is based on qualitative-narrative research. In other words, a methodological perspective whose objective is to know and understand, with the informant being a busy mother concerned about the moment her child is about to experience. In relation to the results, they are structured on the basis of eight nuclei of content, claiming successful communication with the centre, the teaching team and the family itself. In conclusion, a staggered and flexible reception period is proposed according to the needs generated and the characteristics of the people involved in the process.
