Abstract

La leyenda de los amores entre don Pedro de Portugal y doña Inés de Castro ha sido versionada en multitud de ocasiones y bajo el prisma de diversos géneros literarios. Esta que les presento se debe a una pluma anónima, en clave teatral, que bajo la lupa del movimiento ilustrado se concibió y ha permanecido oculta -durante el último siglo- en los anaqueles de la biblioteca universitaria de Sevilla.

The legend of the love affair between Peter i of Portugal and Doña Inés de Castro has been portrayed in multiple occasions and through diverse literary genres. The piece presented here, by an anonymous pen in the form of theatre, was written under the eye of the Enlightenment movement and has remained hidden —for the last century— in the shelves of the University of Seville Library.
