Plastic deformation in metals

Abstract

Se presenta el tema relacionado con la asignatura de ciencia e ingeniería de los materiales referido a la deformación plástica en metales. Este tema está dividido en 3 grandes apartados: el primero es la relación que existe entre las dislocaciones y la deformación plástica. En el segundo nos centramos en los principales mecanismos de endurecimiento mecánico en metales. En el tercero tratamos sobre los efectos que tiene en los materiales endurecidos plásticamente los tratamientos térmicos.

The topic related to the subject of materials science and engineering is presented in relation to plastic deformation in metals. This topic is divided into 3 main sections: the first is the relationship between dislocations and plastic deformation. In the second, we focus on the main mechanisms of mechanical strengthening in metals. In the third, we deal with the effects that heat treatments have on plastically hardened materials.
