Cuando esto ocurre, la siguiente medida a tomar será la realización de una cesárea. El objetivo principal de este estudio es determinar qué factores se asocian a un incremento del riesgo de que una inducción fracase. Objetivo: Con este proyecto de investigación hemos evaluado cuáles son los factores que se asocian a un incremento o a una disminución del riesgo, para que una inducción de parto fracase y termine en cesárea. De esta forma hemos elaborado un modelo predictivo de fracaso de inducción de parto. Metodología: Se trata de un estudio observacional analítico de cohortes históricas, donde la muestra se obtuvo de las gestantes cuyo embarazo y parto fue atendido en el Servicio de Obstetricia y Ginecología del Hospital Universitario Puerto Real. Los datos obtenidos se introdujeron en una tabla, de las cuales extrajimos las variables incluidas en el estudio y se importaron por el programa estadístico R para su análisis. El modelo predictivo se desarrolló mediante un análisis de regresión logística multivariante. Resultados y conclusión: Observamos que aquellas pacientes que presentan una edad elevada tienen más riesgo de presentar un fracaso en la inducción del parto que aquellas que son más jóvenes. De igual forma, se observó que las pacientes que son nulíparas tenían un riesgo superior de fracaso de inducción del parto, frente a pacientes secundíparas o multíparas. Además, las pacientes que presentan una cesárea anterior tienen más posibilidades de inducción del parto fallida que una paciente que no presenta ninguna cesárea anterior. Por último, las pacientes que presentan sobrepeso u obesidad tienen una probabilidad mayor de que su inducción del parto fracase con respecto a una paciente que presenta normopeso.}, abstract = {Introduction: Occasionally, labor induction may fail, being unable to achieve regular and effective cervical contractions and / or cervical modifications. When this happens, the next step to take will be a cesarean section. The main objective of this study is to determine which factors are associated with an increased risk of failure of an induction. Objective: With this research project we have evaluated which are the factors that are associated with an increase or a decrease in risk, so that an induction of labor fails and ends in cesarean section. In this way, we have developed a predictive model of labor induction failure. Methods: This is an analytical observational study of historical cohorts, where the sample was obtained from pregnant women whose pregnancy and delivery were attended at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service of the Puerto Real University Hospital. The data obtained were entered into a table, from which we extracted the variables included in the study and were imported by the R statistical program for analysis. The predictive model was developed using a multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results and conclusion: We observe that those patients who are older are at greater risk of having a failed induction of labor than those who are younger. Similarly, it was observed that nulliparous patients had a higher risk of failure of labor induction, compared to secondary or multiparous patients. Furthermore, patients who have a previous cesarean section are more likely to have failed induction of labor than a patient who does not have a previous cesarean section. Finally, patients who are overweight or obese are more likely to fail their induction of labor compared to a patient who is normal weight.}, keywords = {Cesárea}, keywords = {Puerto Real}, keywords = {Fallo de inducción}, title = {Evaluación de los factores de riesgo de cesárea por fallo de inducción al parto}, author = {Panal Alcántara, Anabel}, }
