Se presenta en este artículo una aproximación a las fuentes primarias del Real Colegio de Cirugía de Cádiz, en el intento de precisar si Navarro y Mutis fueron condiscípulos en esta institución.},

The origin of Navarro’s personal link with Mutis has been over-looked by all historians who have dealt with his life and work. This article presents an approach to the primary sources of the Royal College of Surgery of Cadiz, in an attempt to determine whether Navarro and Mutis were fellow students at this institution.},
