aunque de un modo discontinuo. Se analizan sus sucesivas etapas diferenciadas en las tres décadas de su vigencia, igualmente
se examina la modalidad de teatro leído (TLU), que a partir de mediados de los cincuenta complementó e incluso cubrió la
ausencia del teatro representado, destacando a las personas que lo protagonizaron, así como el papel que desempeñó en el
ámbito académico y en la vida cultural de la ciudad y enmarcado en un contexto general durante el período histórico del
régimen franquista.},
abstract = {This  article  is  an  approach  to  the  study  of   TEU  (Spanish  University  Theatre)  of   Cadiz,  which  had  a  discontinued thirty-year career. Its sucessive phases, differentiated in its decades, are analysed. Similarly, Readers’ Theatre is described, which from the mid-50s complemented and covered the absence of  perfomed theatre, highllighting the people who starred in them, as well as its role in the academic field and cultural life of the city; all of this framed in a general context during Franco’s dictatorial regime.},
