%X In this paper the purpose is to create a state of the issue that analyzes the Carthaginian intervention in the Iberian Peninsula since the arrival of Hamilcar Barca to Gadir in 237 B.C. until their expulsion by Rome in 206 B.C. Special emphasis is placed on the different political, economic and social change, focusing on the problems in order to generate a outlook for future research.
