%X A scanning electron microscopy study was made of 23 gallstones from the human common bile duct. A number of cristalline structures were observed, including not only cholesterol in its hydrated and dehydrated forms, but also calcium palmitate, different calcium cabonate polymorphs, calcium phosphate and calcium bilirrubinate.
