JIPII offers a collaborative forum for young researchers to present and discuss their work, receiving valuable feedback from both peers and senior academics. The contributions span various stages of academic research, including research-oriented final degree projects and PhD theses at different levels of progress. Promoted by the Doctoral Program in Computer Science, part of the Doctoral School of the University of Cádiz (EDUCA), the event strengthens the academic training of participants and encourages knowledge exchange within the research community. This volume brings together a representative selection of the work presented, providing insight into ongoing research in computer science from a variety of perspectives and career stages. The 2025 edition of JIPII brought together over 55 participants, including doctoral students, academic staff, and guest speakers. The program featured four thematic sessions covering key areas such as machine learning, simulation and optimization, cybersecurity, intelligent systems, advanced visualization, and applications in urban and industrial environments. Two keynote talks enriched the event: one by Prof. Dr. Gregorio Robles (Universidad Rey Juan Carlos), who addressed the evolution of software engineering in the era of generative AI, and another by Rafael Gómez-Sánchez, Pablo Luna-Ramos, Manuel Suano-Gallardo, and José Carlos García-Ramos --- members of the SEADETEC project, a collaboration between the University of Cadiz and Navantia --- focusing on automatic pattern generation for cyberdefense. A total of 20 presentations were delivered during the day. All submitted papers underwent a peer-review process conducted by a program committee of 41 experts representing nine institutions from Spain, Germany, Portugal, Tunisia, and Chile. The realization of JIPII 2025 was made possible thanks to the involvement and support of various bodies within the University of Cadiz. We extend our sincere acknowledgment to the Direction of the School of Engineering, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Program in Computer Science, and the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer, in particular through its Plan Propio, for their valuable support. %K Ingeniería Informática %K Aprendizaje automático %K Simulación y optimización %K Ciberseguridad %K Visualización avanzada %K JIPII %K Computer Engineering %K Machine Learning %K Simulation and Optimisation %K Cyber Security %K Advanced Visualisation %K Computer Science %~ Universidad de Cádiz
