un compromiso de sostenibilidad corporativa profundo y sustantivo.; This Final Degree Project examines the level of commitment and disclosure of
sustainability information, based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and
the structural, financial, and corporate governance factors that determine it. The
study focuses on the business fabric of Andalusia, specifically analyzing a sample of 55
large companies (with over 1,000 employees) subject to the thresholds of Law 11/2018
on non-financial information. Through a quantitative content analysis of the NonFinancial Information Statements (NFIS) for the 2023 financial year, a scoring system
based on 76 indicators is developed to measure both the technical quality and the
scope of SDG reporting.
The results reveal a moderate-to-low level of disclosure, evidencing that organizations
adopt a selective strategy (cherry-picking) where they prioritize goals driven by strict
regulatory compliance (such as gender equality or anti-corruption) and systematically
omit more complex environmental and social indicators. Through multiple linear
regression models, it is empirically confirmed that neither internal corporate
governance mechanisms (sustainability committees, gender diversity) nor traditional
factors such as firm size, internationalization, or financial profitability (ROE)
significantly influence reporting, due to the strong coercive and homogenizing effect
of current regulations.
However, the study demonstrates a negative and statistically significant relationship
with intangible assets. Companies intensive in tangible assets (associated with
industries with a high socio-environmental footprint) present much more exhaustive
reports to protect their social legitimacy, while organizations intensive in innovation
and intangibles opt for deliberate opacity to protect their intellectual property and
competitive advantage. The paper concludes that the integration of the 2030 Agenda
in these organizations currently responds to a formality of legal compliance (windowdressing) and the management of public scrutiny, rather than a deep and substantive
corporate sustainability commitment.

Alternative financing for andalusian startups through venture capital instruments: with particular reference to public funding and internationalisation
de Andrés Maeztu, Jaime
This dissertation analyses alternative financing for start-ups through venture capital instruments, with particular emphasis on their role in supporting business growth and internationalisation. Start-ups often operate with innovative business models, intangible assets, limited financial track records and high uncertainty regarding future cash flows, which makes access to traditional bank financing more difficult. In this context, instruments such as venture capital, business angels, crowdfunding, private equity and selected public funding schemes become strategically relevant, as they may provide not only financial resources but also specialist knowledge, business networks and credibility with third parties. The study combines a theoretical and regulatory review with a comparative analysis of financing sources and a practical case study of AGQ Labs, an Andalusian company that has undergone a significant process of international growth. The dissertation concludes that there is no universally optimal source of finance; instead, start-ups require a dynamic combination of instruments adapted to their stage of development, risk profile, investment needs, desired level of founder control and international objectives. Public financing is also relevant as a complementary tool to support market access, reduce part of the private risk and strengthen the credibility of international growth strategies.; El objetivo de este Trabajo Fin de Grado es analizar el papel de la financiación alternativa,

proponen algunas medidas orientadas a reducir la incertidumbre normativa detectada.; This Final Degree Project analyses the tax treatment of room rentals in Spain,
compared with the regime applicable to tourist lettings. The study shows that the
absence of specific regulation of the room rental contract under the Spanish Urban
Leasing Act has historically shaped its treatment under Personal Income Tax,
particularly with regard to the reduction under Article 23.2, whose applicability to this
figure has been the subject of conflicting positions by the tax authorities and a recent
shift in case law. The project compares this regime with that of tourist lettings —
different in terms of income tax, VAT, and reporting obligations— and examines the
risks of reclassification that may arise from a Tax Inspectorate audit. Based on this
analysis, the project puts forward some proposals aimed at reducing the regulatory
uncertainty identified.
