<title>La expansión urbanística de Vietnam vista por artistas. Perspectivas intergeneracionales</title>

<description>La expansión urbanística de Vietnam vista por artistas. Perspectivas intergeneracionales
Nualart, Cristina
La abundancia de estudios sociológicos sobre el&#13;
proceso de transición de Vietnam después de la&#13;
guerra 1959-1975 contrasta con la escasez de investigaciones sobre el arte contemporáneo vietnamita. Este artículo propone intersectar ambas ramas&#13;
de estudio para observar como la obra de tres&#13;
generaciones de artistas se relaciona con el rápido&#13;
desarrollo urbano que Vietnam atraviesa. ¿Cómo&#13;
han respondido estos artistas que viven en la metrópolis más grande del país a su entorno cambiante?&#13;
Algunos trabajos de Nguyen Trung, Tiffany Chung&#13;
y jóvenes emprendedores culturales y grafiteros&#13;
ayudan a reflexionar acerca de la enorme transformación de Ciudad Ho Chi Minh.; The abundance of sociological studies on Vietnam’s&#13;
transitional process after the 1959-1975 war is&#13;
in stark contrast with the scarcity of research on&#13;
contemporary Vietnamese art. This paper aims to&#13;
intersect both fields to observe how the work of&#13;
three generations of artists links to the rapid urban&#13;
development that Vietnam is going through. How&#13;
have artists living in the country’s biggest metropolis&#13;
responded to their fast changing environment?&#13;
Artworks by Nguyen Trung, Tiffany Chung and young&#13;
graffiti artists and cultural entrepreneurs will help to&#13;
reflect upon the enormous transformation of Ho Chi&#13;
Minh City.

<title>De lo que los objetos cuentan o la ciudad interpretada</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10498/22157</link>
<description>De lo que los objetos cuentan o la ciudad interpretada
Barros Caneda, José Ramón
“De lo que los objetos cuentan o la ciudad interpretada” pretende ser un guiño a fuentes literarias,&#13;
en concreto a esos capítulos en los que El Quijote&#13;
interpretaba una realidad percibida de una manera&#13;
determinada. Digamos pues, usando este pequeño&#13;
juego, que se pretende ir gestando una metodología,&#13;
llamémosla relacional, si se quiere hipertextual que&#13;
pretende ir más allá, que no romper la imagen estatizada, para verla como un espejo abierto a cualquier&#13;
presente.; “What the objects say or the city interpreted” is&#13;
intended to be a nod to literary sources, specifically&#13;
to chapters where El Quijote interpreted a perceived&#13;
reality in a specific way. Using this little game, we&#13;
can say that it intends to bring about what could be&#13;
called a relational methodology, or even hypertextual,&#13;
which attempts to go further in seeing the image as&#13;
a mirror available to any present without breaking its&#13;
static form.

<title>Retrato del artista rock: Tres aproximaciones Miradas de cine sobre The Rolling Stones, The Clash y Nick Cave</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10498/22156</link>
<description>Retrato del artista rock: Tres aproximaciones Miradas de cine sobre The Rolling Stones, The Clash y Nick Cave
Guillot Hevia, Eduardo
Una exploración de la relación existente entre el&#13;
medio cinematográfico y tres nombres clave de la&#13;
historia del rock. La filmografía inicial de The Rolling&#13;
Stones, ligada a cineastas con vocación de vanguardia como Jean-Luc Godard, Robert Frank o los&#13;
hermanos Maysles; la posibilidad de un cine según&#13;
los preceptos del punk y su aplicación a una de las&#13;
bandas emblemáticas del movimiento en Inglaterra:&#13;
The Clash; y la singularidad que ha caracterizado&#13;
cada una de las apariciones en el cine del australiano Nick Cave, tanto en su vertiente de cantante&#13;
como en la de guionista. El texto contiene extractos&#13;
de “Sueños eléctricos. 50 películas fundamentales&#13;
de la cultura rock”, que el autor presentó en la Universidad de Cádiz, en el marco del programa Tutores&#13;
del Rock.; An exploration of the relationship between the&#13;
cinematographic medium and three key names in&#13;
the history of rock. The fist titles in the filmography&#13;
of The Rolling Stones, linked to avant-garde&#13;
filmmakers such as Jean-Luc Godard, Robert&#13;
Frank or the Maysles brothers; the possibility of a&#13;
cinema according to the precepts of punk and its&#13;
application to one of the emblematic bands of the&#13;
movement in England: The Clash; and the singularity&#13;
that has characterized each one of the appearances&#13;
in cinema of the Australian Nick Cave, as much in&#13;
his slope of singer as in that of scriptwriter. The&#13;
text contains excerpts from “Sueños eléctricos. 50&#13;
películas fundamentales de la cultura rock”, which&#13;
the author presented at the University of Cádiz, as&#13;
part of the Rock Tutors Programme.
