<description>Diseño y desarrollo de un aerogenerador de microeólica fabricable mediante fabricación aditiva
Maura Serrano, Javier José
El presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado aborda el diseño y desarrollo de un aerogenerador de microeólica optimizado para su fabricación mediante tecnologías de fabricación aditiva. El proyecto surge del interés por desarrollar soluciones de generación eólica de pequeña escala accesibles y adaptables a diferentes entornos de funcionamiento, utilizando procesos de fabricación compatibles con impresoras 3D de escritorio.&#13;
Durante el desarrollo del trabajo se estudiaron distintas configuraciones de aerogeneradores de pequeña escala, evaluando aspectos relacionados con su viabilidad técnica, facilidad de fabricación y adaptación a entornos urbanos y rurales. A partir del análisis realizado, se desarrolló una propuesta de diseño basada en dos rotores híbridos intercambiables sobre una plataforma mecánica común, orientada a la integración de componentes mecánicos y eléctricos en un sistema funcional fabricable mediante impresión 3D.&#13;

<description>Influence of TPU Lattice Structures on Functional Properties for the Design of Customized Rehabilitation Products
Rosa Silva, Sergio de la; Mayuet Ares, Pedro Francisco; Pardo Vicente, Miguel Ángel; Rodríguez Parada, María Lucía
The advantages of AM (Additive Manufacturing) to manufacture complex geometries and custom flexible structures (shape, density, geometry etc.) provides the possibility to use the elastic properties of different materials in order to obtain elastic profiles that could be adapted to a specific customized application. Recent studies established that manufacturing and geometrical parameters like unit cell size and topology, have a defined influence on the stiffness of complex structures like lattice structures, all due to the variation in the volume of material used. This highlights the possibility of designing elastic behavior of structures that could be implemented, for example, in rehabilitation programs which usually use elastic products with highly specific levels of resistance. Therefore, the objective of this works focuses on evaluating the use of the statistical treatment of the data as a guide to predict the behavior of the structures for the design of customized rehabilitation products. A case study based on the use of contour plots as a prediction tool have been carried out. Several TPU lattice specimens were modelled and tested by a simulation of a compression process using finite element analysis (FEA) tools. The reaction force against compression process of several lattice specimens were obtained, showing that the values were within the range of values predicted by the contour plot, validating the prediction. In the same way, the prediction capability with non-studied parameter values, and using a lower number of parameters at the same time were analysed, getting favourable results.

<title>Comparison of Motion Capture Technologies: Accelerometry Versus Kinemetry</title>

<description>Comparison of Motion Capture Technologies: Accelerometry Versus Kinemetry
Rosales Pérez, Aarón; Sánchez Movellán, Rodrigo; Mayuet Ares, Pedro Francisco; Fernández Zacarías, Francisco
In machine design, from an engineering perspective, the need for motion evaluation is commonplace. Such a need entails the assumption of limitations associated with the boundaries of actually existing technology. Image analysis of video clips is an affordable possibility, but with spatial limitations due to opacity due to obstacles, as well as an infrastructure that is often not feasible. The technology market offers other possibilities such as biomechanical suits based on inertial technology, as well as those that combine inertial technology with other technologies such as infrared, image analysis or artificial intelligence. Such options are very costly and specific, and therefore usually economically unfeasible. In addition, there is enormous opacity of such technologies due to corporate confidentiality. Therefore, the long-term development of a flexible, robust, reliable and affordable system for the analysis of the spatial motion of points is proposed in order to obtain, through classical mechanical engineering formulations, information on the kinematics and dynamics of the solids under study. This study is part of a general investigation to study the potential of using accessible and affordable inertial technology developed for the analysis of spatial motion. For this purpose, two models of affordable IMU inertial sensors were chosen from the market and subjected to a rectilinear displacement. This motion was also analysed by video clip image analysis. Using this analysis as a reference, the results of the analysis of the evolution of the position of these sensors were evaluated.
