<title>Entrevista a José Almenara. Presidente del Ateneo de Cádiz</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10498/37069</link>
<description>Entrevista a José Almenara. Presidente del Ateneo de Cádiz
Amar Rodríguez, Víctor Manuel
Estamos junto a una persona, sumamente, conocida en Cádiz.&#13;
De trato afable y gran conversador. Peina canas y, todavía, le&#13;
quedan ganas para presidir unas de las instituciones más&#13;
señeras de la ciudad de Cádiz. No abandona el buque insignia&#13;
de sus aulas en la Facultad de Medicina o Enfermería.&#13;
Hombre de ciencias, aunque con gran apego a las letras, al&#13;
arte y la cultura en general. Le gusta hablar de Cádiz, donde&#13;
milita; sabemos que siente a Cádiz, pues se le ilumina la cara&#13;
refiriéndose a ella. Un hombre del siglo XXI en una&#13;
institución del ayer, la cual tiene como propósito actualizarla y&#13;
seguir dándola a conocer.

<title>Romancero Gaditano 2024: ¡Quillo, tómatelo con filosofía!</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10498/37068</link>
<description>Romancero Gaditano 2024: ¡Quillo, tómatelo con filosofía!
Outón Porras, Javier
El Carnaval de Cádiz posee un patrimonio singular gracias a sus letras&#13;
inspiradas el mundo que nos rodea y acompañadas, en ciertos casos, de una vis cómica e&#13;
irónica. Una comicidad que se hace coincidir -o, al menos, se intenta- con la&#13;
inteligencia; algo que sucede, en un gran número de casos, en la modalidad del&#13;
Romancero de Carnaval y que, pese a ser menos conocida, no desmerece de&#13;
capacidades y reconocimientos. Son años de aval suscribiendo el aplauso de los&#13;
aficionados y curiosos de esta manifestación cultural que mueve sensibilidades,&#13;
revuelve emociones de toda índole y promueve sonrisas y felicidad a cambio, tan solo,&#13;
del cariño de quien escucha. El Romancero gaditano, el cual es sinónimo de&#13;
generosidad, de comicidad y espíritu del Carnaval Callejero, no es más que un juego&#13;
entre el saber y la invitación a la risa, acompañado de cierta dosis de crítica social.; The Carnival of Cádiz presents a unique heritage, rooted in lyrics inspired by the&#13;
world around us and often imbued with a comic and ironic perspective. A comicality&#13;
that is made to coincide -or, at least, it is tried- with intelligence; something that&#13;
happens, in a great number of cases, in the modality of Romancero of Carnival and&#13;
which, despite being less well known, it does not detract from its capacities and&#13;
recognitions. This modality has years of endorsement underwriting the applause of fans&#13;
and onlookers of this cultural phenomenon that moves manifest sensibilities, stirs&#13;
emotions of any nature and promotes smiles and happiness, asking only for the affection&#13;
of its audience in return. The Romancero of Carnival, which is synonymous with&#13;
generosity, humor and the spirit of street Carnival, is nothing more than a combination of knowledge and the invitation to laughter, accompanied by a certain dose of social&#13;
criticism.

<description>Sobre la liturgia hispano-mozárabe
Barea Patrón, Manuel
El presente artículo es un ejercicio para dar a conocer la liturgia hispano-mozárabe. Se&#13;
realiza un recorrido por los mozárabes, el rito o su iglesia. No versa exactamente sobre&#13;
Cádiz, pero es de interés para contextualizar a esta ciudad en el contexto y como la&#13;
Asociación gaditana Jacobea “Vía Augusta” está presente en esta iniciativa y ha&#13;
promovido ocho misas por este rito en la iglesia de Santiago de Cádiz, una vez&#13;
obtenidas las correspondientes autorizaciones tanto del Obispado de Cádiz y Ceuta&#13;
como del Arzobispado de Toledo.; The present article is an exercise to make the Hispano-Mozarabic liturgy known. It is a&#13;
journey through the Mozarabs, the rite or their church. It does not deal exactly with&#13;
Cadiz, but it is of interest to contextualise this city in the context and how the Cadiz&#13;
Jacobean Association ‘Via Augusta’ is present in this initiative and has promoted eight&#13;
masses by this rite in the church of Santiago de Cadiz, once the corresponding&#13;
authorisations have been obtained both from the Bishopric of Cadiz and Ceuta and from&#13;
the Archbishopric of Toledo.

<title>Cádiz y la obra musical Las siete palabras de Haydn</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/10498/37056</link>
<description>Cádiz y la obra musical Las siete palabras de Haydn
Granado Palma, Manuel
La obra orquestal Las Siete Palabras de Haydn está vinculada directamente con&#13;
Cádiz. A finales de 1783 se terminó de construir el Oratorio de la Santa Cueva,&#13;
perteneciente a la Congregación del Retiro Espiritual. Una de las más arraigadas&#13;
costumbres religiosas de entonces, y que sigue siendo actualmente, era la predicación&#13;
cada Viernes Santo de Las Últimas Siete Palabras de Jesucristo. El sacerdote vinculado&#13;
al Oratorio, José Sáenz de Santamaría, marqués de Valde-Íñigo, quiso conferir un&#13;
carácter especial a su inauguración y contactó con el músico austriaco Franz Joseph&#13;
Haydn para pedirle que compusiera una obra musical que acompañara la predicación del&#13;
Viernes Santo.; The orchestral work The Seven Words of Haydn is directly linked to Cádiz. At&#13;
the end of 1783, the Oratory of the Holy Cave was completed, belonging to the&#13;
Congregation of the Spiritual Retreat. One of the most deeply-rooted religious customs&#13;
then, and which continues to be today, was the preaching of the Last Seven Words of&#13;
Jesus Christ every Good Friday. The priest linked to the Oratory, José Sáenz de&#13;
Santamaría, Marquis of Valde-Íñigo, wanted to give a special character to its&#13;
inauguration and contacted the Austrian musician Franz Joseph Haydn to ask him to&#13;
compose a musical work to accompany the Good Friday preaching.
