dc.description.abstract The addition of a known amount of strong acid (HCl) dissolves calcium carbonate. The excess acid is backtitrated with a NaOH solution of molarity M. The data are randomly generated and the user must finally calculate the percentage of calcium carbonate in the sample and give the result with the correct significant figures. en_US
