Abstract

“Al-fanādiq. Los fondacs de los comerciantes cristianos en la dinastía ḥafṣī”. Este artículo trata de arrojar luz sobre la institución de los fondacs en el Magreb oriental gobernado por la dinastía ḥafṣī entre los siglos séptimo y décimo de la Hégira, abordando en primer lugar el origen y sentido técnico del término para pasar después al análisis de su contenido y sus características principales.

“The fanādiq. Fanādiq of Christian traders in the ḥafṣī dynasty”. This paper seeks to throw light on the institution of fanādiq from seventh to tenth Islamic centuries, dealing firstly with the origins and technical meaning of the word, providing thereafter and scrutiny of its contents and main features.
