Un ejercicio de prospectiva en torno a los Observatorios Culturales: hacia la evaluación de la vitalidad

Abstract

Este artículo tiene como objeto realizar una aproximación en torno al papel y la naturaleza de los observatorios culturales en un escenario de futuro. Tal escenario se caracteriza por la complejidad que caracteriza las relaciones entre cultura y desarrollo (humano y ambientalmente sostenible), el carácter micro, múltiple, emergente e intangible de muchos de los impactos que nos interesa evaluar determina un reto decisivo para la planificación cultural. La perspectiva de análisis de la economía de la cultura será nuestra principal herramienta a tal fin.

The aim of this article is to conduct a preliminary examination of the role and nature of cultural observatories in a future scenario. Such a scenario is characterised by the complexity that distinguishes the relationship between culture and (human and environmentally sustainable) development, and the micro-, multiple, emerging and intangible nature of many of the impacts we are interested in assessing involves a decisive challenge for cultural planning. To this end, the main tool used is the analytical perspective of cultural economics.
