La Escuela de Glosadores de Bolonia

Abstract

En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se aborda un ensayo sobre los orígenes del estudio del Derecho que abarca el período de tiempo comprendido entre los siglos XII a XVI. Este recorrido histórico tiene como eje principal la Escuela de glosadores de Bolonia, ciudad donde confluyeron, desde el siglo XI, una serie de eruditos del Derecho que fueron transmitiendo, a través de las décadas y por toda la geografía europea, un método de estudio que sufrirá una progresiva transformación que culmina en sucesivas Escuelas y métodos de análisis de la ciencia jurídica. Constituyendo el Corpus Iuris de Justiniano la base sustentadora de los sucesivos métodos, juristas, desde Irnerio hasta Cujas o Donelus, fueron configurando diversas y dispares corrientes desde las que afrontar la tarea de conformar verdaderos ordenamientos jurídicos.

In this End-of-Grade Paper, an essay on the origins of the study of law is dealt with covering the time period between the twelfth and sixteenth centuries. This historical route has as its starting point the School of glosses of Bologna, where a group of law scholars converged, who were transmitting, through the decades and throughout the European geography, a method of study that will undergo a progressive transformation that culminates in successive Schools and methods of analysis of legal science. The Corpus Iuris of Justinian is the basis for the successive methods; jurists, from Irnerio to Cujas or Donelus, were forming diverse and disparate currents from which to confront the task of forming true legal systems.
