Abstract

This paper aims to understand the imaginary representations of urban landscapes projected for forty years by the so-called fantasy genre cinema , specifically science fiction. For this purpose , it is part of spatial analysis from its role of supporting element and organization of the narrative diegesis in a series of films, in order to understand how the use of urban landscapes is based on a social vision and aesthetics, and interactive communication budgets in the work itself , beyond a notion of mechanical and hyperreal cultural object that refers to a capacity of agency and negative criticism, as has been many theories of cultural consumption centered on the notion of audiovisual goods.
