Patrimonio Cultural y Desarrollo: una mirada a la Agenda 2030 y el rol del patrimonio.

Abstract

En la Agenda 2030 difícilmente vamos a ubicar referencias a la cultura, y aún menos al patrimonio cultural. En su redacción, los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) dejan poco margen a la cultura y al patrimonio como medio humano para alcanzar esos objetivos. Este artículo analiza la presencia y ausencia del patrimonio en los ODS aprobados en 2015 y nos presenta cómo muchas de sus metas se lograrían más eficazmente si se tiene en consideración esta dimensión intrínsecamente humana de participar, generar y abastecerse de cultura, además de ver cómo, si nos centramos en el patrimonio desde un enfoque en derechos, identificaremos caminos que puedan más fácilmente favorecer la consecución de los objetivos de desarrollo integrados en la Agenda 2030.

In the 2030 Agenda we are hardly going to locate references to culture, and even less to cultural heritage. As drafted, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) leave little room for culture and heritage as a human means to achieve those goals. This article analyzes the presence and absence of heritage in the SDGs approved in 2015 and shows us how many of its goals would be achieved more ef ectively if this intrinsically human dimension of participating, generating and sourcing culture is taken into account, as well as seeing how, If we focus on heritage from a rights perspective, we will identify paths that can more easily favor the achievement of the development goals integrated in the 2030 Agenda.
