Abstract

Hacer una semblanza sobre una experiencia vivida en primera persona es más que describir a partir de unas impresiones. Se trata de trazar un recorrido que invita a ser compartido. Y en eso consiste el presente artículo que versa sobre la Procesión Magna de Cádiz, en septiembre de 2022, con motivo de los trecientos años de la Catedral gaditana. La idea es esbozar una serie de emociones inspirada en lo impresionante de la efeméride y lo que significó para el sentir cofrade ver hasta diecisiete pasos en la calle. Una exposición al aire libre de la emotividad y la religiosidad, acompañada del arte imaginero y las músicas de las mejores bandas de música de Semana Santa. Un recorrido por cómo se fraguó y cómo se desenvolvió entre las calles de Cádiz.

To describe an experience lived in the first person is more than just describing a few impressions. It is about tracing a journey that invites to be shared. And that is what this article is about, which deals with the Magna procession in Cádiz in September 2022, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the Cathedral of Cádiz. The idea is to sketch out a series of emotions inspired by the impressiveness of the event and what it meant for the feeling of the brotherhood to see up to seventeen pasos in the street. An open-air exhibition of emotion and religiosity, accompanied by the art of imagery and the music of the best Easter Week music bands. A journey through how it was forged and how it unfolded in the streets of Cádiz.
