Escribir sobre el carnaval de Cádiz se necesita cierta autoridad. Hay que hacerlo con respeto y cariño. Y eso es lo que se hace en esta autonarrativa repleta de convicciones y amor por Cádiz y su carnaval. Un recorrido por Cádiz para activar la memoria, los recuerdos y la nostalgia. No es nada negativo pues se entremezclan con las letras de la comparsa gaditana en Barcelona: Los primavera (2018), Los marea (2019) y Los botas (2020). Un ejercicio que desea evidenciar las relaciones entre la memoria y la nostalgia en el lugar que uno se encuentre. Siempre y cuando la memoria, los recuerdos y la nostalgia sirva para volver a vivir y sentir con el Carnaval de Cádiz.
