A Pesca Artesanal no Contexto da Governança Marinha: Uma Análise das Iniciativas na América Latina, Brasil e Costa Verde

Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as iniciativas na América Latina, Brasil e Costa Verde da governança marinha a partir da perspectiva da pesca artesanal. Foram aplicadas as técnicas de revisão bibliográfica e pesquisa documental e a análise se deu com base em alguns pontos previamente definidos. Os resultados demonstraram algumas intersecções entre elas, como o fomento à participação social, e também dissonâncias, nas abordagens do direito ao território, por exemplo. Também foi observada a predominância das comunidades pesqueiras e organizações não governamentais nas iniciativas.

This work aimed to analyze marine governance initiatives in Latin America, Brazil, and Costa Verde from the artisanal fishing perspective. The techniques applied were bibliographic review and documental investigation, and the analysis was based on some previously defined points. The results showed some intersections between them, such as promotion of social participation and dissonance, in the approaches to the right over the territory, for example.
