Abstract
El siguiente artículo analiza los trabajos de fortificación realizados en la isla del Trocadero tras el fin del sitio de Cádiz en 1812 por las tropas imperiales francesas. Mostrará las iniciativas gubernamentales españolas para evitar un segundo intento francés de hostigar la ciudad de Cádiz mediante una serie de proyectos defensivos en dicho emplazamiento.
 
The following article analyzes the fortification works in Trocadero Island following the end of the siege of Cádiz in 1812 by French Imperial Troops. The measures by The Spanish Government would be displayed in order to prevent Cádiz a French Second Attempt of ha-rrasament by means of a source of defensive projects within that site.
