Las redes sociales como espacio democrático: Lenguaje, ironía y posverdad

Abstract

Esta investigación es un estudio sobre las relaciones entre las Redes Sociales y la trasformación del lenguaje. Se parte de la hipótesis de que la sociedad posmoderna es una red relacional directamente modificada por el fenómeno digital. Así, la vida en la red genera un metalenguaje en cuya virtud se origina el “mundo real”. A través de un examen de la literatura científica y una aproximación teórica basada en encuestas realizadas a jóvenes usuarios de Redes Sociales, se presenta un análisis hermenéutico de elementos clave de nuestro tiempo y tan controvertidos como el uso de la ironía o la posverdad.

This research is a study on the relationship between social media and the transformation of language. It is based on the hypothesis that postmodern society is a relational network directly modified by the digital phenomenon. Thus, life in the network generates a metalanguage by virtue of which the “real world” originates. Through a review of the scientific literature and a theoretical approach based on surveys of young users of social networks, a hermeneutic analysis of key elements of our time and as controversial as the use of irony or post-truth is presented.
