This study investigated the effects of rearing temperature on GnIH and its receptor expression in European sea bass during the critical thermosensitive period. The results revealed significant effects of temperature on the GnIH system and its receptor during the critical period for sex differentiation, as well as daily expression variations that shifted from diurnal in early stages to nocturnal during the reproductive period.
