La huella de Roma en la Sierra de Cádiz: un análisis de los yacimientos arqueológicos

Abstract

El presente documento tiene como objetivo analizar los distintos elementos que caracterizan a los principales yacimientos romanos de la Sierra de Cádiz, mostrando aspectos de su morfología, vías de comunicación, lazos comerciales y el aprovechamiento del medio natural. Se pretende mostrar el desarrollo de estos yacimientos a partir de su conexión con el medio y con otras ciudades próximas, a través del uso de los SIG y otros medios de posicionamiento geográfico. Finalmente, analizaré una posible ruta hacia el Atlántico con objetivos estratégicos y comerciales.

The present document aims to analyze the different elements that characterize the main Roman sites in the Sierra de Cádiz, highlighting aspects of their morphology, communication routes, commercial ties, and the utilization of the natural environment. The objective is to showcase the development of these sites based on their connection with the environment and other nearby cities through the use of GIS and other geographic positioning tools. Finally, I will analyze a possible route to the Atlantic with strategic and commercial objectives.
