Successful project management entails meeting the project objectives, completing the project scope, and achieving the set deliverables, fulfilling stakeholder requirements. Thus, the more complex and varied the expectations of the stakeholders, the greater the need for engaging them in the decision-making process. In this sense, the application of artificial intelligence can help in this integration. First, the paper presents a framework to identifying the internal and external factors associated with stakeholders. Later the relationship is discussed between the identified Critical Success Factors (CSF) and the decision-making process serving as support artificial intelligence. The CSFs identified have been obtained through 315 questionnaires administered to various stakeholders who had taken part in 45 technological projects implemented in a manufacturing company over a 10-year period. The CSFs identified may help to gain a better understanding of dimensions such as top management support, personnel/teamwork and technical task ability, aspects which should not be overlooked, and where the use of artificial intelligence can help to maximize impact and support digital transformation in industry.es_ES
