Abstract
This chapter focuses on internalizing the concept and importance of time, as well as providing necessary training to future managers on time management. To achieve this, various sections will be addressed. First, there will be an initial contextualization of time. Second, the chapter will establish a series of sub-sections to delve into time management. Third, the chapter relates time management to success. Finally, several practices are proposed to internalize the concepts discussed. One of the most significant advantages of effective time management is stress reduction. Work-related stress has been a subject of interest in numerous studies, primarily due to its association with decreased productivity, increased absenteeism, among other factors (Haus et al., 2016). Therefore, this chapter aims to delve into the concept of stress and its antecedents, focusing on occupational stress to equip future managers with the necessary tools to detect and reduce it. Additionally, this chapter suggests various practices for effective stress management.
