Abstract
The interest of this study lies in considering Twitter as part of the communication strategy adopted by the main actors in the Middle East region to manage the struggle for geopolitical leadership. Accordingly, this study aims to monitor the manifestations of transformation in two key areas. First, in the communication process through which the geopolitical struggle itself has developed in the era of social media. Second, in the scope of the transformation that this modern form of communication may bring about in geopolitical action itself. The third aspect, which constitutes the foundation of the study, relates to the nature of the link that communication technology establishes with geopolitics, through the transformation of Twitter into one of the mechanisms of modern geopolitics.
