| es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The integration of migrant students is a central challenge for schools in Cadiz, in a social and cultural context characterized by diversity and globalization. This article analyzes the linguistic, social, and emotional barriers faced by immigrant childrenin the city, as well as the risks of isolation, discrimination, and academic underachievement. The role of learning Spanish is highlighted as a key axis for educational and social inclusion, facilitating curriculum understanding, classroom participation, and the building of meaningful relationships.Likewise, the importance of comprehensive local educational strategies is emphasized, including welcoming projects, socialization activities and intercultural teacher training, to promote equity and mutual respect in the educational centers of Cadiz. Effective inclusion requires a cooperative commitment between migrant students and the educational community, recognizing that the willingness to integrate is as important as the availability of resources. The analysis reflects that, although full integration is a complex objective in Cadiz, educational policies and practices aimed at inclusion constitute essential tools to guarantee equal opportunities, strengthen school cohesion and promote the integral development of all students. | es_ES |
