This study analyzes the Sevillian residence of the Alcázar family through the discovery of
two building contracts found in Sevillian notarial records, dating from between 1564 and
1576. These agreements and their associated building specifications provide ornamental
and structural details commissioned by Don Pedro del Alcázar, veinticuatro of Seville, and
Don Francisco del Alcázar, lord of the town of La Palma, for their residential houses.
