Abstract
This study presents a bibliometric analysis of the scientific production published in the journal DYNA during its first fifteen years indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection (2007–2022). A total of 950 publications were analyzed using the Bibliometrix package in R to evaluate publication and citation patterns, identify the most productive authors, institutions, and countries, and examine the journal’s main research topics through science mapping techniques. The results reveal that Spain is the leading contributor to the journal, with the Technical University of Madrid standing out as the most productive institution. The analysis also identifies the most influential authors and highly cited papers, providing an overview of the journal’s intellectual structure. The thematic map highlights mechanical properties, tensile strength, and the automotive industry as the main driving themes, while energy efficiency, renewable energy, and environmental impact emerge as important transversal topics. This study offers a comprehensive overview of the evolution and research trends of DYNA, providing useful guidance for researchers interested in publishing in the journal and contributing to a better understanding of its scientific development.
