Even though, it is necessary to suggest and explore some new historical hypothesis,inferred from the critical study of this material fi ndings and the re-reading of the literary and epigraphic sources,to surpass the risk of perpetuating the development of accumulative works exclusively based on archaeological data, being lattest unhelpful themselves to elaborate a Socioeconomic History of the Baetican coasts.
