AB In 2010 and 2011, the European Union signed a series of Protocols with Tunisia,Lebanon, Egypt and Jordan, and an Agreement with Morocco, concerning the settlement of tradedisputes that might arise in application of the Euro-Mediterranean Association Agreements signedwith these countries.These Protocols provide for a specific, staged mechanism for the resolution of disputes. This paperanalyses that mechanism for the resolution of trade disputes and his role in the framework of theEuro-Mediterranean area.
