AB The phenomenon of  terrorism has been felt on European soil, particularly in  the  past  decade,  but  even  so  there  continues  to  be  a  widespread  lack  of   knowledge about this issue. This is a changing phenomenon that is transforming and  evolving,  requiring  society  to  transform  itself   in  order  to  combat  it.  This is not a subject whose conceptualisation and characterisation are a sign of   simplicity,  but  rather  the  opposite,  of   complexity.  This  is  furthermore  accentuated if  we attempt to analyse specific issues that involve plunging into international terrorism, which has become global terrorism.
