AB In this paper we have considered the (2+1) filtration-absorption equation that modelsthe flowof impurewater in awater-absorbing fissured porous medium.We have appliedthe Lie method to get the Lie symmetries classificationwith respect to the parameter ofthe equation and we have interpreted them. Additionally, we have obtained solutionsfor the travellingwave case. Lastly, all low-order conservation laws have been obtainedby using the direct method of multipliers. Its associated conserved integral is alsointerpreted.
