AB this chapter is part of a larger project, the European “LSP Teacher Training Summer School” project (TRAILs), which addresses the issue of teacher education and skills development to promote high- quality and innovative teaching in the field of Language for Specific Purposes. Identifying LSP teacher needs is an essential part of the project and the identification of these needs was the first step in this research. In order to do so, a questionnaire and an interview were designed and conducted. This chapter employs a qualitative approach in order to supplement the quantitative analysis of LSP teacher needs reported in the preceding chapter of this book, by Bocanegra- Valle and Perea- Barberá.
