Thus, the more complex and varied the expectations of the stakeholders, the greater the need for engaging them in the decision-making process. In this sense, the application of artificial intelligence can help in this integration. First, the paper presents a framework to identifying the internal and external factors associated with stakeholders. Later the relationship is discussed between the identified Critical Success Factors (CSF) and the decision-making process serving as support artificial intelligence. The CSFs identified have been obtained through 315 questionnaires administered to various stakeholders who had taken part in 45 technological projects implemented in a manufacturing company over a 10-year period. The CSFs identified may help to gain a better understanding of dimensions such as top management support, personnel/teamwork and technical task ability, aspects which should not be overlooked, and where the use of artificial intelligence can help to maximize impact and support digital transformation in industry.
