AB This study presents the archaeological work carried out in the megalithic necropolis of La Lentejuela (Málaga, Spain)between 2021 and 2022. This involved a systematic archaeological survey, including the photogrammetric and laser scanningrecording of all identified megalithic structures, as well as the excavation of two tombs. The results have significantly increasedthe number of known megaliths and improved our understanding of construction techniques. They have also provided the sitewith updated, high-resolution data. The proximity of La Lentejuela to the notable megalithic clusters of Ronda and Antequera ‒the latter being the most remarkable assemblage of megalithic tombs on the Iberian Peninsula‒ will contribute to a deeper insightinto the megalithic phenomenon in southern Europe.
