Detailed studies using salen-type Mn(III) complexes show that photochemical processes involving H2O2, ABTS and the complex itself, can lead to erroneous results. The capability of the complexes to act as ˙OH scavengers can be also relevant when the mechanism of their biological activity is considered PB American Chemical Society SN 0020-1669 YR 2018 FD 2018 LK http://hdl.handle.net/10498/39694 UL http://hdl.handle.net/10498/39694 LA eng DS Repositorio Institucional de la Universidad de Cádiz RD 21-sep-2026
