Las murallas de Tetuán (Marruecos)

Abstract

En la bibliografía especializada, y en los trabajos de divulgación, se indica que el circuito de murallas (5 kms. de perímetro) de Tetuán fue construido en el siglo XVI, y ha tenido simples modificaciones posteriores. En el presente trabajo demostraremos que la mayor parte de las murallas de Tetuán se construyeron en el siglo XVIII.

The specialized bibliography and the informative publications indicate that the circuit of Tetuán´s walls (5 kms. of perimeter) was constructed in the 16th century and has had a simple later modifications. In the present study we will demonstrate that most of Tetuán's walls were constructed in the 18th century.
