De la psicopolítica al elogio de la tierra: exégesis de la filosofía de Byung-Chul Han

Abstract

A través de esta contribución, pretendo presentar el recorrido de la filosofía de Byung-Chul Han, que parte de una crítica al sistema neoliberal, y se detiene de manera particular sobre la mala influencia de las redes sociales y del online en la vida de los ciudadanos. Los individuos, desde la perspectiva del filósofo surcoreano, terminan por estar vinculados al control y vigilancia de empresas de marketing, multinacionales y gobiernos, y su existencia, aniquilada de cualquier sentido, transcurre en escenarios "pornográficos", como los etiqueta el autor, configurando la pornografía como algo extremadamente superficial, sin profundidad, transparente. En el artículo, después de recorrer los rasgos salientes de la "pars decostruens" de la filosofía de Han, se alude a la "construens", constituida por un intento de rehabilitación de lo humano, a través de un nuevo vínculo y un nuevo sentido de responsabilidad y cuidado hacia la naturaleza. El jardín, que representa la miniatura del universo natural, se convierte en una realidad reconquistada, una dimensión en la que el individuo vuelve a la realidad, ya no entendida como una ventana dentro de lo digital, sino como campo de existencia donde abrir horizontes comunicativos con uno mismo y con los demás, para concederse al menos la posibilidad de volver a un ideal de felicidad.

Through this contribution, I intend to present the path of the philosophy of Byung-Chul Han, which starts from a critique of the neoliberal system, and focuses in a particular way on the bad influence of social media and online in the lives of citizens. The individual, from the perspective of the South Korean philosopher, end up being linked to the control and surveillance of marketing companies, multinationals and governments and their existence, annihilated by any sense, passes through "pornographic" scenarios, as the author labels them, they configure pornography as something extremely superficial, devoid of depth. In the article, after tracing the salient features of the "pars decostruens" of Han’s philosophy, I mention the "costruens", an attempt to rehabilitate the human, through a renewed bond and a new sense of responsibility and care for nature. The garden, which represents the miniature of the natural universe, becomes a reconquered reality, a dimension in which the individual returns to reality, no longer understood as a window within the digital, but as a field of existence where to open horizons of communication with oneself and with others, to allow oneself at least the possibility of returning to an ideal of happiness.
