Más allá de Gadir: rompiendo fronteras históricas, historiográficas, ideológicas...

Abstract

El paulatino reconocimiento de Gadir en la historiografía ha pasado por una cadena de avatares debido al propio sesgo de la ideología predominante en el estado franquista. En este proceso varios hechos han resultado fundamentales: la materialización de la historiografía científica en los años 50, la revolución de los arqueólogos de campo de finales de los 60 y la ruptura con el historicismo cultural, el difusionismo y el neopositivismo en la arqueología crítica del nuevo siglo.

The gradual acknowledgement of Gadir in the historiography has suffered from a string of trials because of the turn of predominant ideology in Franco´s estate. In this process there are several facts which have become definitive: the embodiment of scientific historiography in the 50´s, the revolution of the land archaeologists at the end of the 60´s and the breakdown with cultural historicism, difusionism and neopositivism thanks to the critical archaeology of this new century.
