Poesía y canción: lírica y rap español

Abstract

Nuestro objetivo es visibilizar el estudio del rap desde el ámbito de la filología. Por tanto, examinaremos las conexiones formales, estructurales y estilísticas existentes entre el rap y los géneros literarios, especialmente el lírico, y examinaremos ciertos elementos literarios que participan en las letras. Para ello, nos basaremos en un corpus que recoge las letras escritas por las principales personalidades y los grupos más prominentes en el contexto del rap español.

Our aim is to shed light on the study of rap from a philological point of view. Hence, we will examine the formal, structural and stylistic connections existing between rap and the literary genres, specially the lyrical one, and we will analyze certain literary elements that appear on the lyrics. To do so, this paper is based on a corpus that comprises the lyrics written by the main personalities and the most prominent groups within the Spanish rap context.
