Proyectos de esculturas inéditos de Luis Ortega Bru

Abstract

El artículo presenta y estudia proyectos escultóricos inéditos de distintas épocas y estilos de Luis Ortega Bru. Entre esos dibujos se encuentran modelos y bocetos de esculturas conocidas; aunque la mayoría son proyectos de otras que nunca llegó a realizar. Debemos valorarlas como testimonios directos del proceso creativo que distinguió a un artista tan singular, y preciso tener en cuenta, pues son fundamentales para establecer las pautas para la interpretación de su personalidad artística. Igualmente, es necesario incluirlas en el catálogo reconocido del artista.

The article presents and studies unpublished sculptural projects from different eras and styles of Luis Ortega Bru. Among those drawings are models and sketches of known sculptures; although the majority is projects of others that never got to realize. We must value them as direct testimonies of the creative process that distinguished such a unique artist and we must bear in mind that there are fundamental to establish the guidelines for the interpretation of his artistic personality. It´s necessary to include them in the artist´s recognized catalog.
