This paper outlines a university teaching experiment implemented in a module (Educational Processes in Early Childhood Education) from the Early Childhood Education Degree at the University of Cadiz. During the 2021/2022 academic year, this module was planned in accordance with the principles of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Using this framework, the experiment focused on evaluating and learning students through the use of online questionnaires that were designed to accommodate for the diversity found in the classroom. To this end, the time constraints for the questionnaires were made more flexible in two complementary ways. Firstly, time limits for the completion of the questionnaires were eliminated. Secondly, the limit for the number of attempts possible to solve the questionnaires was also removed, and a time period of one week was given for their completion. Once the semester had finished, students were asked to fill in a mixed questionnaire to evaluate the experience. The results showed that students were very happy with the evaluationand learningsystem. In short, the students very much appreciated the flexibility in the time given to complete the questionnaires and considered it to be a motivating factor in their teaching and learning process, noting that they felt free from the pressure of the immediate consequences of errors on the final grade of the questionnaire.
