Abstract

This article analyzes the impact that the "Rubiales Case" has had on the image of the actors involved, from the moment the events occurred until the indictment of Luis Rubiales by the National Court. With the objective of analyzing the management of the crisis, the position of the media and its relationship with public perception, a quantitative methodology was implemented through surveys and analysis sheets. The results indicate a significant transformation in the public perception of both Luis Rubiales and Jennifer Hermoso. In turn, the research reveals that media coverage influenced public perception, evidencing a discrepancy between the initial image of the population and that presented by the media. In this context, the information bias in favor of one of the parties stands out, underlining the relevance of the media in the formation of public opinions.
