Abstract
Data was obtained in 2015 through the application of a questionnaire regarding risks and ex-ante control mechanisms (selección criterio and contract) for technology-based entrepreneurs attending one of the most important annual events for developers and designers in a Programming Language. From the 400 participants at the annual event, our response rate reached 41 percent with 163 complete answers, although regarding only entrepreneurs the final sample is 29 percent (117 useful respondents).
